We connected four Siemens PLCs and waste data into the Lorenz Production MES portal, integrated process and master data and provided live cockpit and analysis views. Within a few months OEE calculation and visualisation were live and the pilot evolved into a long-term contract.
AI based quality control pilot
Paper & Packaging Industry
In a joint time-series pilot we built a machine-learning model that predicts the paper strength during production with an error of around 5%. Instead of waiting for lab results every second reel, operators now get continuous quality predictions and can adjust process parameters earlier, reducing broke and starch consumption while keeping quality on target.
AI energy & anomaly pilot
Automotive Industry
In an AI pilot for energy monitoring we used machine and power-consumption data to detect abnormal baseloads outside production time. Within just a few weeks from data handover to first model, supervised anomaly-detection models on Google Cloud reached high accuracy and reliably highlighted avoidable energy usage across multiple machines and sites.
